As construções da cidade barroca
The architectural changes of the 18th century left a legacy in the city that was changing and growing at a dizzying pace. The Sé Church, the port, the widening of the streets, the creation of squares and public spaces confirmed Rio's new profile. The solid constructions demonstrated the urban evolution, and one could feel the pulse of human intervention in the city's nature.
