The speed of the changes that happen in the city of Rio is impressive: monuments, buildings, and squares are erected and destroyed in the blink of an eye. Professions, shops, and habits go away often without records. Many of these narratives were recovered in this gallery, as well as the history of people who had their lives subtracted in an unexpected way.

The carioca does not live on just beach, sun, and caipirinhas. Rio's night hides surprises. Echoes of a glorious past in which the balneário sought to invent fashions and occupy spaces where staying up until dawn, plotting with creativity and accents full of “rrr” a bohemian and sophisticated way of enjoying life.
