The speed of the changes that happen in the city of Rio is impressive: monuments, buildings, and squares are erected and destroyed in the blink of an eye. Professions, shops, and habits go away often without records. Many of these narratives were recovered in this gallery, as well as the history of people who had their lives subtracted in an unexpected way.

Cariocas do not live on just beach and samba on the weekends. On the contrary: the history of entertainment in Rio is lavish in fashions. Whoever is over 30 years old and has never sighed with longing for the Tivoli Park, after all, let them throw the first stone. Besides the famous park, which was located on the banks of the lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, drive-ins and giant toboggans marked an era, as did the Circo SDRUWS.
