In this work, we conducted research on historical erasure and encouraged a debate on the subject, which resulted in the poem 'Rua Humaitá ou Itaóca?' Rua Humaitá ou Itaóca? Brazil In every corner an erasure Of stories that had existed here for a long time. They tried to change, silence, crown other heroes Who came back from the war, but there was already a hero here. Humaitá or Itaóca? Who won the war "today"? Or who brought it in days gone by? There are many years of history In which Indigenous peoples are silenced and slandered amid these stories. They had wealth, but so as not to speak of sadness Let's treat it with contempt And say they traded everything for gold and mirrors? Can you buy these stories today?
