The students produced a video that revisits the history of Quinta da Boa Vista, one of the most important spaces in the cultural and emotional heritage of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Besides presenting the historical and social aspects of the site — which was once home to the royal family and is now one of the city's main public parks —, the students went further and created an original song, which sensitively and poetically portrays everyday life at Quinta da Boa Vista. Check out the lyrics below:
In the shadows of the trees, I go walking The gentle breeze brings memories of an enchanting time The green spreads out, an oasis in the city In Quinta da Boa Vista, I find tranquility
Quinta da Boa Vista, your charm is real With lakes and gardens, a refuge beyond compare Children's laughter, laughs carried on the wind In this piece of sky, I live the moment. 2X
The old palaces hold a thousand stories In every corner, a bit of Brazil Stone pathways, where love turns into song Fauna and flora dance in perfect union.
Quinta da Boa Vista, your charm is real With lakes and gardens, a refuge beyond compare Children's smiles, laughter in the wind In this piece of sky, I live the moment
And at sunset, everything lights up The birds singing, life finds its way On the wooden benches, stories to tell At Quinta da Boa Vista, that's where I want to be
