In this project, the students visited Norte Shopping, where they interviewed employees who are also regular visitors in order to better understand the role of this space in people's everyday lives. More than just a shopping center, the mall appears in the video as an important meeting point for leisure and cultural circulation in Rio de Janeiro's North Zone. Based on these accounts, the project reveals how Norte Shopping functions as a space for socializing, especially for residents of peripheral areas, offering access to movies, theater, food, and various services. By valuing the experiences of those who work and spend time in this environment, the students craft a sensitive narrative about urban uses and the importance of these spaces for community life and local identity.
