The students' work seeks to highlight how the arrival of the factions profoundly transformed the lives of residents of Gardênia Azul. More than just an increase in violence, this process generates constant fear, limits people's movement, impacts local commerce, affects community relations, and directly interferes with access to basic rights, such as education, leisure, and health. The work reveals that violence is not limited to armed confrontations, but is also manifested in the small and large restrictions of daily life and in the constant threat that hangs over those who live in the region.
