Ah, love... something that seems so silly, yet influences our lives so much, no matter what we do...
Dulcinéia was raised in Marechal Hermes, and José Carlos, a resident of São Gonçalo, was a soldier and served in Vila Militar, with patriotism burning in his heart.

Their stories crossed paths when, on a day off, José Carlos was walking down Marechal and spotted the beautiful lady in a bakery where she was having coffee. It sounds just like a movie story, but it really was a case of love at first sight.
They met each other and their relationship gradually developed, until one day they decided to get married at the Marechal church, the Parish of Nossa Senhora das Graças.

With so many good memories in the neighborhood, they decided to live right there, very close to a magical theater, the Armando Gonzaga theater. Founded in 1954 - one of the first in the neighborhood - the Armando Gonzaga theater has always attracted people of different age groups, with its countless dance, music, and theater performances, and sometimes films. Since its opening, the theater has established itself as a great option for leisure and culture for the neighborhood of Marechal Hermes and surrounding areas.

From the relationship of Dulcinéia and José Carlos, three children were born, and - so far - two grandchildren.
One of the couple's grandchildren, Gabriel, was baptized in the same church where they got married. In addition, it was at the Armando Gonzaga theater that Gabriel's first-grade elementary school graduation took place.

The theater and the neighborhood's other locations have connected the history of many people and generations.
