This work rescues the history of Rua Tirol, located in Freguesia, from a very special perspective. The highlight is the fact that it is a video produced in Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) by a deaf student who is in the process of learning the language. More than sharing information about the neighborhood, the video becomes a powerful tool for reflecting on accessibility, inclusion, and representativeness. By occupying this space of knowledge production and sharing, the student reaffirms the right of deaf people to communicate, learn, and teach in their own language, valuing diversity and showing, in practice, the importance of building a truly inclusive society.
