The students produced a slide that revisits the history of Praça Professor Darcy Pereira, better known as Praça do Tijolinho, an important gathering space for the local community. Located where the former Cruzeiro Textile Factory once operated, the square carries the marks of working-class memory and the urban transformations of the region. Through images, research, and interviews, the video reveals how the industrial area gave way to a public space for leisure and sociability, showing the persistence of the memory of labor and community in that territory. The work highlights the value of local history, bringing past and present closer together, and underscores the importance of preserving and getting to know the city's urban landmarks and their layers of meaning.
