Marli and Jorge had four children: José Luiz, Luiz Carlos, Jorge Luiz, and Sérgio Luiz. For a long time, they all lived in Quintino, in a family compound on Rua Balbina, 191. There they lived in a simple wooden house (a wooden shack), until Jorge Ribeiro won the lottery and managed to buy his house in Madureira, on Rua Buriti.
All four children took the entrance exam and were admitted into the Air Force. José Luiz didn't want to pursue a military career, and so he went to study at the Carmela Dutra education institute. Seu Zé (nickname) passed a municipal civil service exam and became a teacher for the city of Rio de Janeiro. He has 39 years in teaching and also passed the state exam. Nowadays he's a fine math teacher who makes any humanities person's hair stand on end (laughs), and he's also the harmony director of the Império Serrano samba school.

Marli and Jorge always knew how important it was for their children to have an education. Despite not having enough money for that, they always made study time at home a priority.
The four siblings had always been very close and grateful for everything they had learned from their parents, until, in the midst of a pandemic, Marli lost one of her children to Covid-19, Tio Joca (Jorge Luiz). It was a very difficult moment for her, since the two of them were inseparable. Now at the height of her 86 years, Marli is and will always be a hardworking, fighting woman who does everything for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren, and nieces and nephews, even in the most difficult moments.
In my family's history, Carmela Dutra ends up becoming a legacy, since everyone has attended or will still attend Carmela.
